Todo manuscrito deberá ser inédito y no podrá encontrarse bajo evaluación en ninguna otra revista o haber sido publicado total o parcialmente. No se aceptarán manuscritos que no cumplan con esta política editorial. 

Toda autoría principal deberá ser estudiante con matrícula activa al momento de someter su manuscrito. Como evidencia deberá mostrar copia de su matrícula del semestre en curso.

Toda autoría principal deberá estar acompañada de al menos una persona mentora. La primera autoría será de la persona en formación (estudiante), mientras que la última coautoría será de la persona docente.

Se aceptan disertaciones en el caso de que la autoría principal no haya obtenido su grado doctoral. La autoría principal de disertación o tesis sometida para publicación pertenece a la persona estudiante. Como dispone el manual APA, deberá extenderle la invitación a ser parte de la coautoría a la persona que dirigió su investigación o trabajo. Es altamente recomendable que la persona que dirigió su investigación o trabajo le acompañe en la coautoría. Para tesis o disertaciones de otras universidades es indispensable la autorización de la publicación acorde a las políticas de la institución.

Todo artículo deberá cumplir a cabalidad con los Estándares de la Ética en la Investigación. Como parte de la política editorial es ineludible la transparencia, honestidad y rigor de la investigación por lo que requerimos que incluyan antes de las referencias la información sobre: financiamiento, conflicto de intereses, aprobación de la Junta Institucional para la Protección de Seres Humanos en la Investigación (IRB por sus siglas en inglés) y consentimiento o asentimiento informado.

Toda aseveración u omisión del manuscrito será responsabilidad exclusiva de la autoría principal y coautorías.

El Equipo Editorial de la Revista Salud y Conducta Humana no se responsabiliza por las ideas expresadas en sus artículos.

Esta revista no requiere de pago para que su manuscrito sea publicado. Todo artículo final será publicado en formato PDF en la página web de la revista y cualquier persona tendrá acceso libre de costo a la publicación.

Una vez el manuscrito sea aceptado para publicación, la revista retiene los derechos de autoría.

All manuscripts must be unpublished and must not be under consideration by any other journal or have been published in whole or in part. Manuscripts that do not comply with this editorial policy will not be accepted.

The primary authorship must be held by a student with active enrollment at the time of manuscript submission. As evidence, a copy of the current semester's enrollment must be provided.

Every primary authorship must be accompanied by at least one mentor. The first authorship will be held by the person in training (student), while the last co-authorship will be held by the teaching staff.

Dissertations are accepted if the primary author has not yet obtained their doctoral degree. The primary authorship of a dissertation or thesis submitted for publication belongs to the student. As per the APA manual, an invitation to be part of the co-authorship must be extended to the person who supervised the research or work. It is highly recommended that the supervisor accompanies the student in the co-authorship. For theses or dissertations from other universities, authorization for publication following the institution's policies is indispensable.

Every article must fully comply with Research Ethics Standards, transparency, honesty, and research rigor are indispensable parts of the editorial policy, so we require that before the references, you include information on funding, conflicts of interest, approval from the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects in Research (IRB), and informed consent or assent.

Any assertion or omission in the manuscript is the sole responsibility of the primary author and co-authors.

The Editorial Team of the Journal of Health and Human Behavior is not responsible for the ideas expressed in its articles.

This journal does not require payment for manuscript publication. All final articles will be published in PDF format on the journal's website, and access to the publication will be freely available at no cost to anyone.

Once the manuscript is accepted for publication, the journal retains the copyright.
